Based in West Michigan, Optitech has a 30+ year legacy of professional and quality service originally lead by Roger DeLong. I stepped into the roles of Owner and Director in 2016.

My favorite part of this work is the relationships I am able to build with my customers. I take great pride in being a partner in the care you provide. I am fascinated by seeing specimens come to life under magnification and light.

With a degree in education, teaching is also a vital aspect of my work. I enjoy helping providers learn how to properly use and maintain their scopes. I also love teaching children and witnessing their intrigue when seeing what is beyond the naked eye.

I’ve learned so much from this work, like how to enjoy the little things, and that sometimes, it’s best to just let things slide.
